SPEAKING OF DRAGONBALL...

Now... I'm not going to say I told you so, but... I fucking told you so.

This is WAY more terrible than even I expected it would be. Why would you bother to license a hugely popular franchise to make a live action adaptation, and then the only element you keep of the original source material is THE TITLE and the NAMES OF THE CHARACTERS?

I don't even fucking care. This is pitiful. Fuck it. I'm not even curious to see how back they fucked it up, because I can already tell they fucked it up BAD.

In closing... FUCK DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION.

Wow. That looks even more rubbish than I had expected, and I expected the Dragonball movie to be akin to a huge turd, made up of a huge number of lesser turds, held together by corn.

On the other hand, Punisher Warzone was better than my low expectations led me to believe. Titus Pulo (Ray Stevenson) totally killed the role as I knew he would, after his great performance in Rome. You can feel the Punisher's pain. Plot was a bit pedestrian, and Jigsaw was totally over the top, but I paid to see lots of gunfire, and I was not disapointed. The guy who played Soap was perfect.

I want to see PUNISHER WAR ZONE. I agree that Titus Pulo is definitely a better casting decision, and what I get from the reviews is that people are mad that they made... well a PUNISHER movie. Absurd levels of violence? An insane death toll? Light on plot, heavy on action? Over the top villain? SOUNDS LIKE THE PUNISHER TO ME. A lot of times these bad reviews for comic book movies come from people going into a movie no knowing what that character, and what to expect. PUNISHER would be a failure is it WASN'T like that. A movie where the PUNISHER sits around and talks about his feelings? Yeah, I'd see that. 9_9

Anyways... I going to go see THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL this weekend. It looks sick, and if there's one part Keanu Reeves can play, it's a guy that doesn't emote.
